Redness on a new tattoo?

I have a tattoo that was done 9 days ago. It started to peel normally since yesterday, but today I notice small redness. The tattoo heals well in general. It is not sensitive anymore but itches a little. There is no pus or discharge. There is maybe a slight heat on the tattoo area but nothing intense. the redness seems to be small red circle

Hello Ma'am, It's hard to say because of the ink, but what you can do for now is to monitor the situation, and apply a moisturizing cream or ointment as indicated, if needed. You can also apply a cold water compress as often as needed. If the redness or swelling increases, or if other symptoms occur such as fever, pain or other, you should consult me.
