I have a red stain on my lips that is not a cold sore?

I have a red spot on my lip that is not a cold sore. I had a dryness two weeks ago on my lips and the driest part left a red spot that doesn't go away even with lip balm, I don't understand why the part stayed red? Here is my redness, it's like dryness I don't understand what is it???

Hello ma'am, are you able to upload some well-lit images? Thanks for the feedback. In the absence of other symptoms, just monitor the situation. It may be that frostbite or dry skin manifests itself this way, it may even take 3 to 4 weeks for resolution. I suggest applying a greasy moisturizer like Aquaphor often , especially before meals, before and after an outing, even if it is a short trip.
