Are these normal withdrawal symptoms or should I see a doctor?

I have been weaning off sertraline for 3 weeks now. I was taking a 100mg dose for 2 years. I stopped gradually in 3 weeks (75mg x1 week. 50mg x1 week. 25mg x1 week.) I have been feeling dizzy for a few days. I feel like my heart is missing a beat and I get numb lips. My vision also becomes "jerky".

Hello, ma'am,
We often recommend a more gradual cessation than what you have described.
I strongly suggest that you contact your pharmacist, who will be able to assess the situation and suggest a longer withdrawal period, even if it means extending the treatment, if necessary. He/she will be able to communicate his/her options to the physician and will be able to ensure a close follow-up with you.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
