What should I do about the pain I felt when I put the drops and the small amount of blood I got on the cotton swab.

Hello, I have small allergy problems and I often have rhinitis with thick secretions in the back of my throat that I can control with Avamys, which I use very rarely.
I also have a blocked nostril almost permanently. Lately, as I had more irritation, I put some ciprodex (expired, I am ashamed) in my right ear and felt a pain, then I gently inserted a cotton swab which came out with a little blood.
Should I continue with the Avamys or should I be satisfied with the salt water spray that usually clears my sinuses of thick and transparent secretions when I blow my nose (I say sinuses because I feel that it comes from very high up and not only from the nose)?

Good morning, ma'am,
Given the reported bleeding, you will need to consult a doctor in order to properly assess the situation and not delay treatment.
I would also like to remind you that you should never insert a cotton swab or anything else into the ear.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist

The blood is from a small irritation and not from bleeding from the ear.
