My rapid test is positive several months after my diagnosis, am I really positive/contagious?

Hello, I contracted Covid19 several months ago. I have no more symptoms, but I have to do rapid tests 1x a week (health work). Why is my rapid test for Covid19 still positive several months after I contracted the virus?

Hello, ma'am,
The test detects the virus particles. It could be that the test still detects the old particles. It could also be a reinfection, which is still possible. We do not recommend testing 3 months after an episode of COVID for this reason.

Thank you very much for your answer
I have a trip to the US planned in 3 weeks. Do you think I need a certificate that states that I was infected with Covid19 within 3 months? If so, can a pharmacist do it?

I refer you to the appropriate instances for this question:
A COVID test is not necessary, it is the mandatory vaccination that is still in place. This
being written, pharmacists cannot issue a certificate of infection.
