How do I stop a migraine when my migraine medication is not working 100% as usual?

Hello, since last Thursday I have a migraine and I took my migraine medication as usual but it is not effective to stop the migraine at 100%. Usually I'm ok 1 hour after I took it I also had nausea which I don't usually have when I have migraines.

Hi, thanks for your question, sorry to read about your troubles!
Usually, taking your migraine medication (usually 'triptans') along with an anti-inflammatory drug (ibuprofen, naproxen and others) can offer superior efficacy. Of course, the use of anti-inflammatory medication should be evaluated if you have contraindications such as poorly controlled high blood pressure, allergies, or others
If the migraine persists for a week without any improvement, I advise you to consult a doctor, as a pure precaution.
I hope that I have been helpful to you and I remain available if you have any other questions. I will transcribe the same answer in your other question so as not to leave it unanswered.
