I have a copper IUD that expires in September 2023. Is it possible to keep the IUD longer? If so, how many months?

Thank you for the feedback, I have not found any information that would support effectiveness beyond 5 years with this device. It would therefore be recommended to remove it and install a new one before or after this date to maintain a contraceptive considered effective.
