Hello Mrs,
In the majority of cases, a consultation is not necessary, as this is a problem that tends to disappear on its own.
  • How long have you noticed this?
  • What are the symptoms exactly? Is there any discharge? If so, what color during waking hours?
  • Does your baby have any other symptoms such as a stuffy or runny nose?
Thank you for your help!

Hello,
there have been cases of conjunctivitis at the CPE. This morning his eyes were a little bit red and there was a discharge from his right eye. Last night a crust had formed. Otherwise he has a runny nose, no fever. We saw the nurse the day before yesterday for his 9 month follow up and his ears were nice too.

Thanks for the feedback!
In the vast majority of cases it could be viral in origin, so it goes away on its own after 7 days at most. Just clean the area with a clean wet towel. Avoid sharing the towel as a precaution. In the meantime, there is no need to apply anything to the eye.
If the situation lasts more than 7 days without improvement, you should consult a doctor
