Sore throat and pain when I swallow?

Sore throat and pain when I swallow just on one side... advils don't work What can I take to relieve the sore throat, can it be an infection?

Hi, thanks for your question! The best solution is Tylenol or Advil, which are good options for pain relief. Lozenges such as Halls or Fisherman's Friend can also provide local pain relief. I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, either cold or hot depending on your preference. If the pain persists for 7 days or does not seem to improve, please see a doctor.
