How can I relieve itching and eliminate dandruff without harming my scalp already weakened by accutane?

Indeed Accutane can cause a lot of dryness throughout the body, including on the scalp.

I would be inclined to try another type of shampoo that would be less likely to leave residue or dry out the scalp like Head & Shoulders (the regular form).

I would also suggest, if you haven't already done so, to just let your hair air dry and avoid the blow dryer and hair irons.

Otherwise, there are oils to apply to the scalp to treat dryness, such as jojoba or coconut oil to name a few. You can try using them.

If this does not work, I suggest that you talk to your pharmacist who can consider adjusting the dose to assess tolerance later.
