You would have to show the cyst to a doctor to be sure it is normal. Indeed, it may be related to your level of physical activity.

The doctor will want to see if the cyst is mobile or not, and if it appears to contain fluid or flesh, in order to determine his or her diagnosis and plan the most appropriate treatment for your situation.
