What can I do to treat contact dermatitis?

Hello, following a nail application I started to have itching on my fingers. My skin has become extremely dry and cracked. I have bits of skin peeling off and the rest of my skin on my fingers is harder/stiffer than usual. I thought it would eventually go away when I took off my fake nails, but it hasn't. I've been reading about contact dermatitis and it sounds a lot like my symptoms.
