Hi, my friend was prescribed norlutate for endometriosis, does the medication act as contraception as well?

hello,

This medication is not indicated as a contraception and should not be relied on as such.

Furthermore, taking an oral contraceptive with Norlutate is not indicated either. Your friend will have to ensure the use of a barrier method like a condom should she have sexual relations.
