I have seen on several sites that grapefruit can be bad when taking citalopram, is this true?

I am taking medication for anxiety (citalopram) and I have a question about grapefruit. I do not consume the fruit in question, but a light grapefruit wine.

Hello ma'am,

There is no problem with eating grapefruit or grapefruit juice if you are taking citalopram.
