Good morning, Mrs,
Do you have other symptoms such as a runny nose, even a little, sneezing more or less frequently, itchy nose, eyes or throat?

Hello,
The stinging throat is the main symptom for the last two weeks that causes my cough. Newly since two days nasal congestion (which I relieve by doing sinus rinses in the morning when I wake up). I thought of an allergy to mites/dust, but benadryl in capsule doesn't help, so I doubt... I have no other symptoms

It keeps me awake, and the benadryl, codeine and nighttime cold advils that are supposed to make me sleepy do not help me sleep...

Thanks for the feedback!
I would be inclined, in addition to nasal hygiene as often as necessary during the day, to suggest an anti-histamine such as Aerius or Claritin to name a few. These may well be more effective than Benadryl. You can get a good idea of their effectiveness after 5-7 days (if not sooner)
Given their non-effectiveness, I suggest stopping Advil Cold & Sinus as well as the codeine.

Thank you very much I will try an anti-histamine!
