I have a hard ball behind my ear?

Hello, since a few days I have a hard lump behind my ear. I have had sinusitis for two weeks, but I think it is going away. I went to see a doctor for my sinusitis because I had been sick for a long time, but she didn't prescribe me any antibiotics because she didn't want to develop resistance. The lump is only painful when I touch it. I wear the N95 at work with a visor, could this be related? Could it be due to sinusitis? Should I consult a pharmacist or a doctor?

Hello, thank you for your question!
As far as you know, is this "lump" due to the elastic of the mask rubbing against your skin?

The elastic is in my neck and over my head, but the goggles maybe a little.

Thanks for the feedback!
It could be that the equipment you are wearing is causing friction on a sensitive area. If this is possible for you, I invite you to go to the pharmacy and show the lesion to the pharmacist on duty. It will be easier to determine if a product could be recommended, or if a consultation with a physician would be necessary.
