Can I do the sinus rinse with the tubes? Is there a risk of dropping the tubes?

Hello, my 2 boys (2 and 3 years old) had tubes installed in their ears last week. Now they have a bad cold. Without thinking too much I give them the sinus rinse (about 4 times a day) like before the tubes were installed. However, for my 2 boys, water comes out of their ears when I do it. For one of them, no pain, for the other one, it is a bit of a pain (but he is more sick now).

Good morning, ma'am,
Yes, this is normal, it can even happen to people who do not have a tube in their ear.
I suggest in this case to use a 5 or 10 ml syringe instead of the Sinus Rinse, or to use only a quarter of the bottle (make the whole mixture but do not clean with the whole bottle).
I hope I have reassured you and I am available if you have any other questions!
Sincerely,

Is it more likely that the tubes will fall out?

No, it's not something that can bring them down :)
