I removed a mole, is it dangerous?

Hi, I have a mole that has become a scab (I didn't notice if it appeared by itself or if it's a wound). I scratched it and the scab fell off. The wound is healing well, but there is no more mole

Hello Mrs.,

It is indeed not recommended to remove a mole because it can increase the risk of infection and scarring

It also prevents the doctor from detecting the mole

Simply keep the area clean with water and mild soap

If the redness increases, a doctor should be consulted as a precaution.
