I have vaginosis after sex?

31-year-old woman3 years ago
Hello! I often have vaginosis after sex. I've been taking medication, but it always starts again. Could this be a reason why I am unable to get pregnant? Is there any other way to stop it from coming back (vaginosis)?

Hello Mrs., sorry to read about your troubles!
It is possible that contact with your spouse's semen contributes to an imbalance of pH in the vagina. This imbalance is often the source of infections
It would be helpful to avoid other sources of imbalance as much as possible, such as the use of soaps and other feminine hygiene products, tight clothing, and wiping up and down after a bowel movement, among others. I suggest that you wear slightly looser clothing, and if possible cotton underwear that allows for better breathing.
If you continue to have problems, you should see your doctor again
I hope this has been helpful and I am available if you have any further questions!
