I have been feeling vaguely high or dizzy for the past 3-4 days and have a lingering cold, is this related?

When it happens it only lasts a few seconds, but it can happen several times during the day. Two days ago I had pain in my ear like a pinch, and this morning after doing my sinus rinse this pinch came back when I blew my nose. I also have the impression of having a blocked ear, but it doesn't come out when I do the Valsalva technique.

Hello,
Indeed, this feeling of having a spinning head can be linked with all your symptoms. Indeed, nasal and/or sinus secretions can get lodged in the Eustachian tube (which connects the ear to the pharynx and the nose). This pressure created in the ear can disrupt a mechanism in the inner ear that is involved (along with the cerebellum) in the perception of balance. An attack on this area (or in your case pressure caused by secretions), can create dizziness sometimes accompanied by nausea.
The best thing to do at this time would be to continue the Sinus Rinse. This will do the most to clear your sinuses (and thus the secretions in your ear), and will do the most to reduce your dizziness symptoms
I hope this answers your question. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask

Thank you so much for the explanation, I will continue my sinus rinse wishing it would go down😊
