In two weeks, I have two tests to take at the hospital: the diabetes test and a blood test because I will be 26 weeks pregnant. How do I proceed with COVID?

How can I best prepare myself to go to this meeting considering that there will be many people waiting? Is there any other way to do the tests or should I protect myself as much as possible by putting on a mask? Because I don't think I can not go to these tests given the importance of them.

Hello Ma'am,
Given recent developments on the COVID side, we may well be able to shift your next blood draw a bit. Indeed, it is possible to do certain tests at relatively flexible intervals (including the diabetes test).
In this case, I would therefore recommend that you contact your pregnancy monitoring medical clinic to validate this.
If the blood test cannot be delayed, you should know that a nurse could be arranged to come by the house, in some cases (to be discussed with the doctor as well).
Happy day,
