Is it safe to use canesbalance when I have just finished my canesten treatment?

I thought I had a vaginal yeast infection, but I finished treatment yesterday and I still have symptoms. After rechecking my symptoms, I realize that I have bacterial vaginosis instead.

Hello,
It is safe to use Canesbalance even after a treatment with Canesten. This product may have some effectiveness, but it is rather modest.
If you do have symptoms of Bacterial Vaginosis, a visit to the doctor may be unavoidable.
If your symptoms do not improve within 72 hours, despite the use of Canesbalance, you should really go to the doctor and get a prescription for an antibiotic treatment of Flagyl or Dalacin depending on the situation.
By the way, what are the symptoms that make you say that it is indeed a bacterial vaginosis?

I did the test on the canesten website, but in the end I am not sure of the result. Itching, slight swelling, thicker and more abundant discharge but no smell. What makes me doubt is the fact that I finished the treatment yesterday and today I still have itching, although the symptoms are less intense

With all the information you have given me, it is clear that it is still a yeast infection
Have you tried the fluconazole capsule (Canesoral)? This capsule by mouth is more effective than the cream for the treatment of vaginitis. At our pharmacy, we have a group prescription that allows us to prescribe this treatment. It is a single capsule, to be taken immediately. It usually works very well.

No, I haven't tried it! Since my symptoms have decreased (almost no discharge, and less itching) should I wait to take the pill or should I take it as soon as possible?

You should take it as soon as possible to eliminate the fungus that is causing the infection.
