I have secretions in the back of my throat, but no signs of a cold or flu. Could it be coming from my ears?

I don't have blocked ears but sometimes they get blocked for a few seconds, I think it might be a wax plug that is starting to form. I have only had 2 ear infections in my life. Should I consult or can I find a product in a pharmacy to clean and dissolve the ear wax?

Hello Ma'am,
In such a situation, it is important to know that secretions in the throat most likely do not come from the ears. However, the presence of a large amount of secretions in the nose and throat can cause secretions to back up into the ear through a small canal called the Eustachian tube.
In such a case, the blocked ear is therefore not due to an earwax plug, but rather due to secretions from the nose.
To see if your blocked ear is caused by secretions, the following can be tried:
  1. Proceed with 2 products, namely the Sinus Rinse™ and Otrivin;
  2. Apply the Otrivin into your nose;
  3. Wait 30 minutes, then do the Sinus Rinse.
Usually, the ear should unclog within 2-4 hours of doing this:)
If not, you can repeat twice a day for 2-3 days.
If it's still not enough, we'll go for a consultation.
Good day,
Alexander
