Menstruation that lasts several weeks?

Question

How do I know if the problem is due to premenopausal or the COVID 19 vaccine? I have never had this kind of problem before. I have been bleeding a lot, changing protection every hour and even had to go to the emergency room. My iron levels have dropped drastically. I had a hysteroscopy, and biopsy, nothing abnormal. They suggested an IUD to fix the problem. I was not taking anovulants. The problem started in October. I have been on birth control pills since January...waiting to have the IUD installed. I never had any problems until October 2021. Thank you for your help
