I have a very sore throat and I have white patches or pu (I don't know what it is) in the back of my throat. Also I don't have my tonsils anymore. Do you know what it is and also how to treat it because it really hurts when I swallow and it looks like my throat is swollen

Hello Madam, I am sorry to read about your troubles!
In order to better understand the situation and your needs, would it be possible to provide / confirm the following information:
  • Do you have a fever (if so, how much?)?
  • Do you have a cough?
  • Do you find that the lymph nodes in your throat are painful and/or swollen?
  • How old are you exactly?
  • Do you have any other symptoms such as a runny or stuffy nose?
  • Have you had a quick test for COVID?
Thank you for your time!

Thanks for the feedback!
Here are the suggested measures for these symptoms:
Advil (if no allergy or other contraindications, your pharmacist.can confirm this) or Tylenol are the first intentions of treatment for pain. Lozenges such as Halls or Fisherman's Friend can provide local relief of irritation. I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference.
I strongly suggest nasal hygiene with saline solution such as Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse, which can be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
These measures should help. If your symptoms persist for more than a week without improvement or get worse, you should see a doctor.
I hope this has been helpful to you, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions!
