Blood in my stool and sometimes no stool. What could it be?

I consulted my doctor about 1 month ago because I have been bleeding when I have a bowel movement for almost 2 years. It comes by episode I would say 1x per 3 months and it lasts a few days. I don't feel any pain, just an itching, burning sensation or stuck stool at certain times. Only yesterday I went to the toilet, I forced to pee and I farted 2x when I got up (without a bowel movement) there was blood in the toilet and on the paper! Bright red blood and in medium quantity. After I wiped it off nothing. My doctor told me that I had a good crack and he prescribed a cream to put on twice a day. It took me a while to get my prescription so I put it on for the first time yesterday. I didn't have any bleeding again. My doctor told me that I don't see any external hemmorrhoid. But my mom says it really looks like a burst hemorrhoid. To say that there was not really any contact with my fissure since I did not have a bowel movement. Note that it was really the first time it happened to me without a bowel movement.
