I don't know what to do. I give him tylenol but it seems to hurt.

I seem to be missing a part of my sentence, but my 20 month old daughter seems to have an abscess on her lower gum and it worries me! She doesn't seem to be in pain, she's letting her teeth/gencives be brushed! It is a hollow with what appears to be a blood bubble!

Hello ma'am, when did you first notice this? Are there any other symptoms like fever? Is she still eating?

I noticed this Friday, March 10. No fever and a good diet

Thank you for the information!
If there are no other symptoms and your child is feeding, we suggest only monitoring the situation. Tylenol can be given for pain relief if needed. Avoid spicy, hot or irritating foods for the next few days, make sure your child uses a soft or very soft toothbrush and that it is changed at least every 3 months.
If the lesion persists for more than 7 days without improvement, I suggest consulting a doctor as a precaution.
