Nasal hygiene for babies and the risk of choking?

I do the syringe technique to unclog my baby's nose and every time she chokes, do you have any tips on how not to let that happen? I don't know if you can help me, but every time she chokes, is she at risk of getting water in her lungs?

Hello, thank you for your question!
Here is the document created by the Ste-Justine hospital, which explains the volumes to use, and the easiest and safest technique to use, with pictures:
I found this document very simple and complete. I hope you will find it useful. I remain available if you have any further questions!

Yes, I already know the technique thank you! I just wanted to know if there was any danger of her getting water in her lungs since most of the time she struggles and seems to "choke"?

The risk of choking is very minimal, especially since the amount of liquid used is extremely small. I want to reassure you on this side!

I don't know if it's because it surprises her, but when we do it she turns red and seems to "swallow wrong". I just want to make sure I don't drown her either, even if I do exactly the right technique ahah. It worries me, but if you say it's practically impossible I'll believe you! Thanks
