Seborrheic dermatitis in my newborn?

40-year-old woman3 years ago
Hello. I have a 27 day old newborn, 35 weeks premature. He started on October 23 with baby acne and seborrheic dermatitis. Since then he is getting worse and worse. Monday the 1st I went to the emergency room advised by the nurse of the clsc and the doctor indicated fucidin. I really don't see any improvement. Can I clean him with Mustela's miscellar water and then apply Aveeno's night balm which says on the back that it's for babies over 6 months old? Or should I continue until Monday (end of the treatment) and then do what? Sorry I'm desperate because it's already taking over his head, face, ears, neck, shoulders and armpits. 😭😭😭

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
Mustella soap is no problem, but you should avoid rubbing the skin vigorously after bathing. Instead, lightly pat it down to leave some moisture on it.
A fragrance-free moisturizer will be applied afterwards.
Also, I invite you to contact your pharmacist, with your baby or photos to support it, who can personalize the consultation, or suggest you re-consult
Cordially
