I have a rash on my forehead and I don't know what to do?

22-year-old womana year ago
Hello, since a few days I have had a flare up of small pimples on my forehead (they look like small heat pimples) but I'm not sure. Some people tell me that it looks like an allergic reaction. It's still getting worse day after day (since about 3 days)

Since a few days these little pimples have been growing on my forehead. I don't know what they are and it's been getting worse for a few days (about 2-3 days)
It stings a little but nothing intense. Are you able to tell me what it is?
thank you

Hello Mrs.,
Unfortunately it is impossible to determine what exactly it is because it requires a diagnosis, which only doctors can make.
Was there contact with an irritant agent such as soap or detergent, new cream, hat?
Is there a tingling, itching or burning sensation?
Has the appearance of the lesions changed, e.g. have blisters appeared?

No the appearance has not changed, could it be a cold sore but localized to this location?

Thanks for the feedback!
I do suspect shingles, but I can't be sure. Considering that the lesion is on the head, the regulation does not allow pharmacists to prescribe a treatment. I must suggest that you consult as soon as possible, ideally treatment should be started within the first 72 hours.

Can it be shingles even if there is no transparent blister and it doesn't hurt?
Naji-tom Samaha · a year ago
Yes, this is possible.

Hello, for example, if it is shingles, is there a risk of contagion to other parts of my body?
For example, if I touch the affected area and then touch my arm, is there any risk of transmission?
Naji-tom Samaha · a year ago
The fluid inside the shingles lesions is very contagious, yes.

Perfect, so if I don't have any liquid it's not contagious?
Naji-tom Samaha · a year ago
However, it is impossible to know the cause of the rash you have and the risk of contagiousness, which is why I suggested a consultation with a doctor.
