I have back pain with radiation in the buttock and thigh?

67-year-old woman2 years ago
I have a backache, (right side), the pain radiates in the buttock, the thigh for 2 weeks. I took painkillers (Tylenol type), I received an osteopathic treatment, no change. Today, from 1 pm, I took ibuprofen and methocarbamol tablets. The pain does not decrease quickly. I also took hot baths. It feels good, but only for a short time.

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
Ibuprofen may take a while to work. It may help relieve the pain, but it is unlikely to take it away completely
What I strongly suggest is a physiotherapy consultation: they are the professionals best placed to assess the pain and develop a treatment plan that is realistic for you. Most group insurance plans cover this service. If you wish, you can continue to take ibuprofen if there are no contraindications to its use.
Sincerely
