Good evening,
First of all, if you have continuous and abundant bleeding, or if blood flows outside of the stool periods (ex: you stain your underwear during the night), or if you have a fever, you will have to make an appointment with a doctor or a GPI. The same is true if you feel a very strong and sharp pain during defecation, or if you feel that part of the mucous membrane of your anus has come out of the rectum
Dostinex may cause constipation. The first step in reducing this risk is to drink 4 to 6 glasses of water a day and eat sources of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables). Regular physical activity also reduces constipation. If constipation persists, a mild laxative such as Lax-a-day once a day may be safe and effective.
To relieve symptoms and treat the current episode, you can do a sitz bath (i.e. sit in about 10 cm of warm water after a bowel movement for a few minutes, in the bath or using a basin), and then apply Preparation H PE ointment (inside and out) after each bowel movement, but at least twice a day, until healed (about 1 to 2 weeks) If the symptoms persist despite 2 weeks of treatment, you will need to consult a doctor or a GPI.
I hope I have helped you today!

Good evening,
I think some of the mucous membrane came out, is it serious? I'm going to drink more water starting tomorrow and probably go buy a lax-a-day too. Would applying petroleum jelly help too? Would this be a diagnosis of hemorrhoids?

If you have to manually replace part of the hemorrhoid (your symptoms make me think that may be it) and it comes out when you have a bowel movement, it will need to be looked at more closely in the next few days.
Petroleum jelly may help, but in my opinion Preparation H PE is better as it contains an ingredient that helps decrease bleeding.

what is the H PE preparation? Is it a cream that you can buy in a pharmacy or do you have to prepare it yourself?

It is available in pharmacies without prescription.
