I have bleeding at mid-cycle. My cycles are about 28 days long and usually the bleeding is 5 days before (very light spotting). What should I do?

We have been trying for baby #2 for about 1 year. Bleeding occurs in about 75% of my cycles. However, this month the bleeding came 2 days after my ovulation (day 15-16 of my cycle) and was a little heavier than usual (needs to protect below). So I'm wondering, hormonal imbalance? Is this normal? Can this cause infertility? Thank you very much for enlightening me!

Hello Ma'am,
Infertility, no! :)
These spotting episodes are often caused by stress. Since the start of the pandemic, there has been a dramatic increase in reported spotting episodes on the platform.
It's a good bet that by reducing your stress level, you may only experience bleeding at expected times.
If, however, the bleeding is accompanied by belly pain or becomes regular (monthly), then a doctor should be consulted.
