Could it be hyperthyroidism? Is there a solution for tremors?

19-year-old woman2 years ago
My hands are always shaking, especially when I am making precise movements (writing, eating). My head always hurts and sometimes I have numbness in my limbs and face. I have had an MRI and I have abnormal reasoning in my brain, but this does not justify any pathology. In addition, I have an amenorhoea of more than 5 months and my blood tests of hormones are not in the normal values. I am not pregnant and I have never taken contraception. The health professionals cannot find the cause.

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
However, there is hardly anything that can be addressed here compared to the evaluations you have already undergone.
That being said, it is very likely that a thyroid workup has been done for you through all of these evaluations. I encourage you to consult your physician for details.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
