I was advised by a pharmacist near me to treat symptoms similar to a yeast infection, I did not consult a doctor. She advised me to use canestin with the vaginal applicators once a day for 6 days and if the symptoms do not go away to consult a doctor at that time. I wanted to make sure that there is no risk for my pregnancy. I am in the early stages of pregnancy and I don't want to cause any developmental or other problems.

Hello Ma'am,
You can use the Canesten™ applicators without any problems. However, you should avoid going too "deep" into the vagina with the applicator, which may touch the cervix (could trigger contractions).
Also, be sure to do the 7-day treatment and use the vulva cream as well. Shorter treatments or no vulvar cream work less well in pregnant women.
