Am I at risk of developing malaria if I stop the medication?

I am returning from Africa (Benin) and I have more and more side effects from the malarone prescribed 7 days after my return.

Malarone should be continued for 7 days after leaving the area at risk. If you do not tolerate the medication, I strongly suggest that you contact your pharmacist who will be able to gather the necessary information to help you, including considering an adjustment or modification, in addition to ensuring a close follow-up with you.
