In cold and sinus medications, it contains "pseudoephedrine". This medication could decrease milk production in women. Therefore, it is best to avoid it while breastfeeding.
An effective and safe method for nasal congestion and runny nose is saline solutions. You can find them in pharmacies like Hydrasense and Sinus Rinse. In general, for fever, pain and headaches, Tylenol alone may be an option.
Other non-pharmacological measures:
Resting in bed
Wash hands frequently
Avoid touching face and eyes
Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration
