What more can I do to help it return to a dilated state?

I am no longer able to dilate the foreskin of my 21 month old son. I read on the website Birth and Growth that it could be posthitis. After discussion with my pharmacist, I have been applying an antibiotic ointment for 5 days. I manage to apply it under the skin, around the glans with a Q-tip, but the orifice is still very small. There was a slight redness and it has disappeared. There is no smell, no itching, no pain, no secretion. If I hadn't tried to dilate his foreskin, I would never have noticed.

Hello,
Do you seem to see any swelling that could explain this change?
Complete dilation of the foreskin only occurs between the ages of 3 and 6. However, if it is not the same as before and the antibiotic treatment did not work, it would be better to consult a doctor.
I wish you a good evening!

Hello!
For your information;
No swelling and I finally consulted. The doctor is not considering posthitis. Probably just an irritation. To be re-evaluated in a few weeks with the doctor.
