I no longer have an up-to-date epipen for my severe allergy.

Hello,
Since you suffer from a severe allergy that requires you to have an epinephrine auto-injector
epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen®), your pharmacist can indeed prescribe you a new injector.
This will save you an unnecessary doctor's visit and will be much faster and easier for you!
I recommend that you contact your pharmacy as soon as possible. Your pharmacist will also be able to give you a reminder to use your auto-injector properly if necessary!
I hope that I have answered your question correctly,
Pierre-Luc Tremblay, pharmacist
