Hello,
I understand that you are concerned about the situation! 😕
First of all, it is important to make sure that you have taken your pill properly, as prescribed, without forgetting. It is also important to make sure that when you started the pill 1 month ago, you used a complementary method of birth control (condom) for the first 7 days of treatment if you had sex at that time.
If you took your medication according to the various guidelines, rest assured! There is virtually no risk of pregnancy!
On the other hand: if you are not convinced that you have used your new contraceptive method correctly. I strongly recommend that you take a pregnancy test!!!
In order to help you better, I would like to know if you are able to clarify for me what you mean by: taking the medication continuously?
  • I would like to know if you are taking this medication without doing a break week (sugar pill) or if you do a withdrawal period every month?
If by continuous intake you mean that you are taking pills with hormones every day, without a break week (or commonly called "sugar pill") , it is normal that you do not observe any bleeding.
On the other hand, if you use the pill so that you have a week of withdrawal each month (so one week when you take pills without hormones), you should have bleeding during that week of withdrawal. It is possible to have no bleeding at the beginning of treatment. The body takes some time to get used to it. However, if this bothers you or persists in the next few cycles, I suggest that you discuss it with a doctor or your pharmacist to possibly try a new contraceptive method 😊!
Hopefully, I have been able to help you,
