I feel a pinch on the right side of my ovaries 5-6 days after my period, is this normal?

28-year-old woman2 years ago
I don't understand how to calculate my cycle. I finished my period 5-6 days ago and since today I feel pinching in my right ovary. It's not painful, it's just annoying and it pinches. It is intermittent and sometimes the pinching radiates to the beginning of my leg. It is accompanied by normal vaginal discharge. Are these symptoms of ovulation? I would like to understand my cycle better! Thanks!!!

Good morning Mrs.!
To 'calculate' the length of your cycle, it starts on the first day of your period and ends on the first day of your next period
For most women, this is between 4 and 5 weeks.
Ovulation occurs 10 to 14 days before the first day of the next period. For example, for a woman with a 28-day cycle, ovulation will occur between days 14 and 18 of her menstrual cycle
Ovulation can in some cases be accompanied by fatigue, or increased sensitivity to pain in some people.
I hope this has helped you and I am available if you have any further questions!

Hello,
thank you for your answer
are the symptoms I described to you related to this?

Indeed, you may become a little more sensitive to pain, but if your symptoms are temporary, mild, and do not affect your quality of life, there is no need to worry.
