Hello Mrs,
In order to better understand your needs, would it be possible to know if you are currently taking medication and if you have any allergies or intolerances?

Tylenol to get rid of earache and headache
and I took benylin syrup
cough and bronchial congestion

Thanks for the feedback!
I highly recommend nasal hygiene with saline solution such as Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse, which can be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. Cleansing secretions can reduce the amount of runoff into the throat that often causes coughing. It's a little uncomfortable but works extremely well!
Keep in mind that this can only be done if you do not have a completely blocked ear.
There are decongestant nasal sprays like Otrivin or Drixoral. These can help reduce congestion and the feeling of a blocked ear. However, they should not be used for more than 3 to 5 consecutive days.
I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference. This is even more effective than the syrup, which I suggest you discontinue.
You can continue Tylenol for the pain and take lozenges like Halls or Fisherman's Friend for local relief of the irritation.
If the symptoms persist for more than a week or get worse, you should see a doctor as a precaution.
I hope I've been helpful, so please don't hesitate if you have any further questions!
