Do I have to take my antibiotic again after vomiting 35-45 minutes after taking my TBA PO?

Hello, I have been coughing for >3 weeks with purulent sputum. I was first diagnosed with the flu and then reconsulted when my condition deteriorated and they discovered LSD pneumonia. I am on antibiotics: doxycycline 100mg BID. This am while taking my TBA, (with food + water and respecting the instruction not to lie down

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles! As a general rule, if you vomited within 60 minutes of taking the antibiotic, it is suggested that you take it again. However, if it is the antibiotic that is causing the nausea, or if it happens again, I suggest you discuss it with your pharmacist. I will remain available if you have any further questions!
