Hair loss and that it might be due to a lack of iron?

I have purchased iron vitamins (jamieson) but it says to seek professional advice before taking them.

Hello Mrs.,
Would it be possible to know since when you noticed this, if you are taking other medications, and exactly which vitamins you want to take?
Thank you!

Hello, I have noticed my lack of hair on my temples for 1 week, but I don't know when I started to lose volume.
I only take the contraceptive pill.
I'm very picky about food (not very varied/nourishing!) and don't eat much meat so I was wondering if that was related.
I suspect that I am lacking in vitamins so I started taking B 100 complex, omega 3, biotin. For the iron vitamins I bought those?

I also have a lot of headaches and when I have my period I bleed a lot. That's why I'm asking about iron deficiency, because I've read that it can be harmful if I take vitamins that I don't need

Thanks for the feedback.
It is very difficult to evaluate the hair loss since only 1 week. This being said you don't have to eat meat to get everything your body needs
Taking vitamins can be detrimental on the side effects side, and some supplements can cause some blood tests to be falsified
If you have prolonged headaches or heavy bleeding even though you are on the pill, I suggest you talk to your doctor, if only as a precaution.

And what are the side effects of taking iron vitamins if I don't have a deficiency? Is it dangerous for my health?

Also, thank you for your previous answer!

Iron can cause gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, cramps, constipation or diarrhea. Also, if you really need iron, it would be best to consult a doctor to assess the source of the iron loss, whether it is heavy menstrual bleeding, bleeding elsewhere or something else.
