I have less appetite since taking 15mg of Cipralex?

Question

I have been taking cipralex 10 mg for a few years with no side effects. My doctor recently increased the dose. I am currently taking 15 mg and after 1 month I will increase to 20 mg if I still have my anxiety symptoms.

Thank you for your question! Increasing the dose can in some cases cause nausea or a decrease in appetite, temporarily. This usually goes away after max 1 to 2 weeks If it does not subside, I suggest you talk to your pharmacist. If you suspect that the dose is the cause, a decrease could be tried.
