I have red itchy patches all over my chest?

I have red itchy patches all over my torso (back and stomach). I also have a sore throat and probably an ear infection. Is this all related? Is it an allergic reaction? I have taken reactin and nothing helps.

Good morning, ma'am,
How long have you had these plaques? Have you consumed any new food or medication?

No, nothing new.
i have had this for over a week. It started with 3-4 patches on my belly and 2 days later, full on the sides and then full on my back (middle and bottom).
i tried to figure out why the patches only stayed on my "trunk" and a little bit on the base of my right arm (near the armpit). I found that it was very similar to gibert's pityriasis rosé... knowing that I had a headache and sore throat 2 weeks ago (covid test negative).
i didn't sleep last night because my body burns and stings intensely!

Thanks for the feedback!
Indeed the pityriasis is only present on the upper part of the body, and can be distinguished by a big patch and many small ones.
If you would like to send me a well-lit picture I could see it better
There is no known treatment and it resolves itself, it may take a few weeks, but it is impossible to determine with certainty that this is what it is. I strongly suggest applying a fragrance free moisturizer like Aveeno which is oat based, as often as needed during the day
Avoid using scented soap and water that is too hot in the shower. Lightly pat the skin to leave a thin layer of moisture and apply moisturizer promptly after getting out of the shower.
The lesions you have now should not increase in size and number, but if they do, you should consult a doctor as a precaution.
I am available if you have any further questions!
