In such a situation, it is possible that the crumbly skin comes from having a small infection on the glans. To be sure, it's best to consult a doctor, of course.

That said, before consulting, I recommend trying a treatment with clotrimazole, a cream available in pharmacies (Canesten™). The cream will be applied to the glans twice a day for 7 days.

If you don't see any difference, we'll go see a doctor.
