I haven't had my period for 40 days, what can I do?

I have not had my period for more than 40 days. I am not pregnant. I've never been regular in my cycle. We are trying to have a child and it's getting hard to plan. I've had an IUD for 5 years where I didn't menstruate for most of that time.

Hello, ma'am,
Some people can have a long or irregular cycle without it indicating a problem. However, it can make it more difficult to conceive.
If you have an irregular or long cycle, it is generally recommended that you have intercourse at least every 2 to 3 days to maximize your chances.
I will be available if you have any further questions
