Do I have to start my birth control pill again as usual if I have not yet had my period because of the morning-after pill?

I have a regular period. I have been on the pill for 8 years. The morning after pill was taken on Monday (Dec. 23) and I was supposed to have my period on Wednesday (Dec. 25) I usually start the birth control pill on Sunday.

Hello Ma'am,

Yes, it is best to go back on your pill as usual this Sunday, even if your period has not started. This is because waiting more than 7 days off may increase your chances of having an unwanted pregnancy during your next cycle.
