I started working out again and have been experiencing back and left side pain as a light spot under my sides. Is this related to my recent mononucleosis?

I was diagnosed with mononucleosis in August. I was tested and had no organ swelling but I was wondering if it was possible for my spleen to swell after training even though everything was fine when the doctor examined me? I feel like it's more my back pain that's causing it to radiate down to my front ribs. What do you think about it?

Hello Ma'am,
It is not impossible that your spleen is somewhat swollen.
To be sure, the best thing in my opinion would be to consult a doctor who could palpate your abdomen and examine you.
In the meantime, avoid heavy lifting.
Happy day,

P.S. You could also consult a kinesiologist to support you in resuming your training. He or she will then be able to help you so that your back doesn't hurt. 😊
